Fortnite: How to Complete Season 7 Week 5's Challenges

Fortnite: How to Complete Season 7 Week 5's Challenges

Just recently, the 14 Days of Fortnite event came to a close, leaving many fans of Epic Games’ wildly successful multiplayer sandbox survival shooter to wonder what kind of content would be coming to the title next. Now, players have even more tasks to take on, as Epic has made Season 7 Week 5’s Battle Pass challenges live in the game, officially bringing about the first week of challenges for 2019.

As many Fortnite fans might argue, Season 7 Week 5’s Free and Battle Pass challenges shouldn’t be too difficult for those who have been consistently playing the free-to-play Battle Royale release, as several are rehashes of tasks from the past. Nevertheless, there may be newcomers and those who are less adept with the title. So, should that be the case, they would do well to read on and find out how to successfully complete all of the challenges.

Stage 1 of 5: Land at Polar Peak (0/1)

As with previous staged challenges in Fortnite, players are charged with visiting one initial spot and then following through with going to other areas. In this case, one will need to first land at Polar Peak, which is in the heart of the recently added winter biome.

After hitting up Polar Peak, players will then need to land at Fatal Fields, then Tomato Temple, then Loot Lake, and finally at Snobby Shores. This will take at least five matches to complete, as one must land from the air directly onto the Named Locations.

Deal damage to opponents structures (0/5000)

This challenge shouldn’t be too difficult for Fortnite fans of all skill levels, but it will require one to go on the offensive. Basically, find a weapon and start blasting away at every opponent-created structure one comes across.

While firearms such as pistols, assault rifles, and shotguns are decent choices to chip away at opponent structures’ integrity, one’s best bet to finish the challenge quickly would be to use explosives. In this case, grenades, dynamite sticks, or even the freshly added Boombox are good picks.

Suppressed Weapon eliminations (0/3) [HARD]

Elimination challenges in Fortnite are typically labeled as difficult for many reasons, but in this case, it’s mostly due to the fact that it requires a specific weapon-type to be done. So, not only will one need to have good aim, but also they will need to be a crack shot with a Suppressed Weapon.

So, firstly, keep searching loot chests or sifting through floor loot until coming across a firearm with a suppressor. Then find three separate opponents, and take them out with said weapon.

Fortnite where to find water tower

Stage 1 of 3: Dance on top of a Water Tower (0/1)

Some staged challenges in Fortnite require in-depth explanations in order to get them just right. With this being the case, we’ve put together a separate guide for this tower-centric challenge.

Search Chests at Wailing Woods or Paradise Palms (0/7)

The best way to knock this challenge out fast is for Fortnite fans to dive in from the Battle Bus at either Wailing Woods or Paradise Palms and start opening as many loot chests as they can find. Always be sure to be on the lookout for opponents, though, as players are bound to come across an enemy if they try to open all seven chests in one fell swoop.

Search between a giant rock man, a crowned tomato, and an encircled tree (0/1) [HARD]

As with the aforementioned dancing atop different water towers challenge, this task takes some added explanation. So, Fortnite fans who need help checking this one off the list need to visit our guide for the search-based challenge here.

Eliminate an opponent from closer than 5m away (0/3) [HARD]

Since this challenge tasks Fortnite players with eliminating an opponent in close-quarters, it’s best to keep a shotgun handy, as aiming just right will often result in a one-shot, one-kill. Epic added Legendary Pump Shotguns not too long ago, so should one find this particular firearm, make sure to have it on standby in the inventory.

As always, good luck out there, Fortnite fans!

Fortnite is available now in early access for Android, iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One.
