Although it may seem as if Fortnite season 9 has just begun, it’s officially at its midway point, with season 9 week 5 now underway. After completing all of the challenges given by developer Epic Games this week, players will be able to find a season 9 week 5 battle star, but one challenge that may be perplexing for some requires players to visit 5 wind turbines in a single match.
This is a matter of knowing where they are and visiting them all in a single match, and no real contest of skill. However, it’s worth mentioning that other Fortnite players will be working on this challenge and every wind turbine is located near Pleasant Park, turning the whole area into a hot zone for players over the course of the next week or so.
Because of their proximity to Pleasant Park, the player should drop in the general area and see most of them from the drop. Those who cannot, however, can also look closely at the map, as each Wind Turbine has a small white marker that Fortnite players can use to guide them. It’s worth mentioning that there are two Wind Turbines to the east, to the south, and to the west of Pleasant Park, but there are none north of it. For a more exact location, we recommend HarryNinetyFour’s straight-to-the-point map (which can be seen below)
The trick is hitting 5 of the 6 Wind Turbines in a single match without getting killed, but there are a few tricks at the disposal of ready Fortnite players. The first recommendation would be to complete this challenge via the Team Rumble mode, as this will make it a lot easier to visit all of the Wind Turbines in a single match. Finding a vehicle in any mode will also be of assistance given that it will increase movement speed, and those playing with others would benefit from the Fortnite Party Assist feature to complete this challenge.
Yet the brave player wanting a challenge and trying to complete this solo will have a hard time. The best advice would be to approach from the south, hitting both Wind Turbines there, before moving either East or West and hitting both of those there. Players will want to avoid Pleasant Park as much as possible to survive, but they will need to get at least one on the other side to complete this Fortnite challenge.
Fortnite is out now for Android, iOS, PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
